John Bane Player Development Manager

Born and raised in Iowa, John began his casino career at the President Riverboat Casino as a security officer and was then promoted to a Casino Host. John took a leap of faith and left his hometown, for the first time, to take to on a new challenge of opening Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin as Executive Host. After 8 years in Pennsylvania, Bally’s Quad Cities Casino & Hotel presented an opportunity, John returned home to join the player development team. John enjoys spending time with his family, bowling, and dining at his favorite Quad Cities restaurants.

Gilbert Frank Executive Casino Host

Gilbert was born and raised in the Quad Cities area and was one of the first team members to work on the riverboat casino. It was here that Gilbert development friendships with guests that he still values today. With over 23 years of casino experience, he spent most of that time in marketing and was promoted to Player’s Club Manager. He is currently an Executive Host, and the highlight of his day is greeting, meeting, and assisting guests to ensure they have a great experience here at Bally’s.

Ahmed Afef Casino Host

Ahmed settled in the Quad Cities and currently resides in Blue Grass. His work experience ranges from retail, gaming, food and beverage, and now Player Development. Ahmed enjoys meeting new guests every day, and he looks forward to making guest visits to Bally’s Quad Cities more enjoyable!

Thomas Lynch Casino Host

Thomas settled in the Quad Cities after receiving his bachelor’s degree in business management from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. While this is his first job in the casino industry, he is no stranger to working in hospitality with prior experience in hotel management. Thomas looks forward to creating a wonderful environment and experience for the guests at Bally’s Quad Cities. When Thomas is not working, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and family, and watching or participating in various sports.
