NourishKC is a non-profit organization dedicated to building food security in the Kansas City region. They offer the following programs: Kansas City Community Kitchen, Culinary Training, and Food Rescue.

Newhouse KC has a vision to shatter the barriers that feed the cycle of abuse and for all people to live a life free of domestic violence. In support of this organization, an employee jeans week along with your donations of TITO tickets helped raise $3,500 for the cause! Team members also collected much needed supplies for Newhouse, which were also presented to the organization. We are proud to support Newhouse Shelter!
The Farmer's House works to empower youth and adults with developmental disabilities to pursue their best lives. As a proud sponsor of The Farmer's House, Bally's C.R.E.W held multiple employee jean days where employees are allowed to wear jeans during a given timeframe for $5 a day. Along with employee jean days, and donations of slot tickets, gaming chips and money donated by our customers we were able to donate $4,000 to the cause. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City works to clear the path to a child’s biggest possible future by matching them with a caring, adult mentor in a one-to-one friendship. “Bigs” help “Littles” ignite, empower and defend their potential by standing with them. We were able to donate $3,000 from our employee jean week, as well as donations of slot tickets, gaming chips and money donated by our customers. Operation Breakthrough is a nationally accredited, non-profit corporation with a mission of helping Kansas City families. Operation Breakthrough provides a safe, loving and education environment for children in poverty and empowers their families through advocacy, emergency aid and education. Assistance League of Kansas City is committed to helping at-risk children and youth by providing them with essential items, such as shoes, eye exams, and warm winter clothing. They provide comfort to children in crisis and vulnerable seniors. Assistance League of Kansas City believes when essential needs are met in the community, families will flourish. To commemorate the opening of Celebrity Casino & Lounge, Bally’s Kansas City C.R.E.W. donated $1,500 to Veterans Community Project, a 501 (c)(3) organization founded in Kansas City, Missouri with a goal of eliminating Veteran homelessness through critical support services. The main support services include The Veteran Outreach Center: A walk-in center to serve as a one-stop-shop for every veteran facing every type of problem, and the VCP Village: Built by Veterans for Veterans, VCP Village is a specialized community of tiny homes combined with wrap-around, onsite services to get homeless Veterans off the street and transition them to permanent housing.
Honor Flight Network Kansas City is a national non-profit organization created to honor veterans of the United States military, providing all participants with a safe and supportive environment, free from discrimination. As a proud sponsor of Honor Flight Network Kansas City, Bally's C.R.E.W held multiple employee jean days where employees are allowed to wear jeans during a given timeframe for $5 a day. Along with employee jean days, and donations of slot tickets, gaming chips and money donated by our customers we were able to donate $3,500 to the cause. Bally’s Kansas City C.R.E.W. hosted a Toy Drive on behalf of the Marine Toys for Tots Program from November 1 through December 15. During this timeframe, Bally’s Kansas City team members were invited to participate by donating new, unwrapped toys. Collectively, Bally’s Kansas City collected and donated over 150 toys, which will help serve the Greater Kansas City Area during the holiday season. Marine Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes them to less fortunate children at Christmas. Through the gift of a new toy, the Marine Toys for Tots goal is that it will help bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America’s less fortunate children.
Julia Bargman Hope Foundation is committed to continuing the fight against breast cancer by raising funds and supporting their community and school district. In support of the foundation, employees participated in Julia's Warriors Run for Hope, their 11th Annual 5K Run/1 Mile Walk on October 9, 2021. We had the pleasure of donating $2,000 to the cause and are proud to sponsor Julia Bargman Hope Foundation as they continue to keep Julia's HOPE of one day helping to find a cure for breast cancer.
Street Medicine KC provided access to quality healthcare for the homeless population and those at risk in our community. Bally’s Kansas City team members were able to raise $1,210 for their amazing cause in the month of July by way of jean days where employees are allowed to wear jeans during a given timeframe for $5 a day. We are proud to have worked with Street Medicine KC!
Independence Animal Services is dedicated to protecting the safety and welfare of people and animals in our community. As a proud supporter of Independence Animal Services, in Q2 2021, Bally’s Kansas City donated over $5,000 in monetary and in-kind donations. This was accomplished by a pup-friendly fundraiser at Bar K, a dog and cat photo contest, and an employee jeans week. Our Bally’s Kansas City team members donated over 200 items; including dog and cat food and lots of pet toys. The donations were matched by our Leadership Team collecting a total of over 400 items for Independence Animal Services!

NourishKC had an urgent need for paper goods, specifically paper towels and paper napkins. Our Bally’s Kansas City team members donated 100 paper goods for NourishKC and that was then matched by our leadership team with 100 more items, collecting a total of nearly 200 paper goods!

Toys for Tots has been delivering hope to millions of less fortunate children each year. Their mission is to “Assist the U. S. Marine Corps in providing a tangible sign of hope to economically disadvantaged children at Christmas.” Our Bally’s CREW Committee donated over 100 toys to the Toys for Tots Program. We are so proud of our team members for their kind donations!
